Schuff Steel, a national leader in steel structures, is looking to add a Talent Acquisition Recruiter to its team.  Our industry is fiercely competitive. Under the HR Director, this position partners with hiring managers, leaders, and stakeholders across the organization to fill immediate and future growth positions. This position develops a pipeline of talent through strategic recruitment solutions that meet the needs of the business. This position is responsible for the full cycle recruiting process which includes job analysis, skills and work traits assessment, job ad marketing and posting, candidate sourcing, applicant tracking and screening, interviewing, and onboarding.   

This position develops recruiting plans specific to the business needs of the position. This position also maintains Applicant Tracking System (ATS) as the source for all applications/resume screening.  The Talent Acquisition Recruiter will represent the company at external events, such as job fairs, and college recruitment of assigned areas. 


  • At least (5) years as a Corporate Recruiter within a large staffing agency or publicly traded company. Preference is within the construction/manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge of current Applicant Tracking Systems and software applications.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing.

  • A "down-to-earth", "action-oriented", no-nonsense team player who can work with Business Managers throughout the organization with a "roll-up the shirt-sleeves" attitude.
