Schuff Steel (an affiliate of DBM Global), the largest fabrication & erection company in the US, is looking to hire a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to assist the business in the area of Recruitment and Talent Acquisition.

This will be achieved through the development of local and national recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The HRBP will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent for the Schuff Steel Plants throughout the United States.

Key Performance Objectives

  • Develop and execute recruiting plans.
  • Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, social media, and employees.
  • Develop and Track Measurable Facets of the Recruiting and Hiring Process
  • Coordinate and Implement College and Vocational Recruiting Initiatives.
  • Reduce Current Vacancy Rate (CVR) with direct hires while also increasing the applicant pipeline with qualified candidates

Minimum Qualifications

  • Full-Cycle recruiting experience; At least 3-5 years of industrial recruiting experience along with 2 years of HR experience within the heavy construction/manufacturing sector. A Bachelor's degree in HR or closely related business field is required.  Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) experience.
