Key Performance Objectives (not an all-inclusive list of duties/expectations)

HR Policies and Procedures

  • Establishes consistent HR Policies and Procedures throughout the organization. Policies directly support the overall Business strategy while also driving engagement and ensuring legal compliance to federal and state regulations.
    • Proven experience with structural steel and union negotiation/management strongly preferred

Talent Acquisition-Talent Management

  • Under the direction of the Head of HR, this position will assist in the development and facilitate the execution of the Succession Planning platform as part of Talent Management Strategy.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Responsible for the administration and general supervision over monthly Benefit Account reconciliation.
  • Working with Head of HR, develop and administer the Company's Salary Administration Plan. Develop, design, and execute implementation and roll out. 

Employee & Labor Relations

  • Advise front line supervision on effectively and legally resolving workplace disputes.
  • Investigate and correspond to EEO, FLSA, and other alleged discriminatory actions.
  • Represent Management during collective bargaining negotiations for field unions


Minimum eight (8) years of experience in an HR Leadership role (Manager or higher) within a publicly traded organization; HR experience in the Construction and/or Heavy Manufacturing industry with union experience. 



Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in a Business or Human Resources related field is required.  Master's Degree in Business or HR Management preferred.  Certification in SPHR or SHRM-SCP is also preferred.
